The Compassionate Grief Centre is looking for a Part-Time Clinical Counsellor in Fredericton, NB.
This is a meaningful opportunity to support individuals and families navigating grief and loss through counselling, education, and compassionate care. We’re seeking someone who is experienced, collaborative, and driven by purpose.

DETAILS:
Position Title: Clinical Counsellor
Location: Fredericton and surrounding areas
Position Type: Part-Time
Reports To: CEO
Hours TBD
Pay: $35-$42 hour
Position Overview:
We are seeking a compassionate and qualified Clinical Counsellor to join our dynamic team. This part-time role offers flexible hours and the opportunity to provide meaningful mental health support in both community and clinical settings. The successful candidate will work in our Fredericton office and potentially inside multiple community organizations.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide professional, individual counselling services to clients in-person and/or virtually.
Travel within the community to meet clients at partner agencies.
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams and community partners to support client wellness.
Maintain accurate, confidential documentation and reports in accordance with professional standards.
Support outreach efforts and build relationships with local organizations to identify client needs and service gaps.
Facilitate groups from time to time
Qualifications:
Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in Social Work (MSW/BSW) or a related counselling field.
Active registration and good standing with a professional regulatory body (RSW, LCT, or LCT-C).
Experience working with diverse populations including seniors and individuals with disabilities is considered an asset.
Valid driver's license and access to a reliable vehicle.
Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and flexibly in community settings.
