Weekly Grief Cafes
Join us for a warm cup of coffee and meaningful conversations every Monday.
Our Grief Cafés offer a warm, welcoming, and judgement-free space for individuals to come together in the presence of grief. Whether your loss is recent or many years ago, you are invited to join others who understand that grief is not something to be rushed or fixed.
At each Café, there is no pressure to speak—some come to share, others come to listen, and many simply come to sit quietly with a cup of coffee or tea. What matters most is that you are not alone. Our Cafés are grounded in compassion, respect, and confidentiality, creating a space where people can feel safe to be exactly as they are.
We currently offer Grief Cafés in Saint John, as well as throughout Charlotte County with locations in St. George and St. Stephen, providing both daytime and evening options to better support our communities.
At this time, our Cafe’s with the exception of our Cafe at the Compassionate Grief Centre are on pause for the summer. All Cafe’s will resume in the fall with the addition of more Cafe locations. See everyone in September!
Don’t live in these areas or can’t make it to our in person Grief Cafe’s? Please join on private Facebook Group, Grief Cafe After Hours. Our After Hours group is open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week to discuss your grief. It is a safe space for you to talk with others who are experiencing similar feelings.
Our online group is an extension of our Grief Cafe’s and Hosted by our volunteers and program coordinator.
